About
We are compiling an online directory of baddies in your area. This project is born out of nostalgia for old-school newspaper romantic ads, missed connections on Craigslist, and how friends describe each other.
We’re tired of swiping, the endless scroll, pointless texting, paying for premium. We’d much prefer a meet-cute like in You’ve Got Mail. Behind every great first date is an even greater friend: to hear about it, help you pick out an outfit, and if you’re lucky, to set it up.

How to use it
Submit a description of your friend and one photo. Browse profiles that people have made for their friends by their respective city. If you see someone you are interested in or your friend would be interested in, email them~<3.
Rules for Users
- You can’t make a profile for yourself.
- You must get your friend’s approval to make them a profile.
- Be nice <3.
- You can make as many profiles for friends as you’d like. Once you have made one, go to the Account page and fill out the google form for another person. Share your login details with your friend if you both want to see the directory. Use it how you’d like.
- Help your friend stand out. Dolly Parton could be described as a “country singer” but when she calls herself a “backwoods Barbie” it helps us visualize her a bit more.

*Featured Love Story*
Phoenix made a profile for John and Hanna made a profile for Faith. The two people behind the profiles were tired of the apps, the swiping, and wanted their friends to take the reins of their romantic life. One day at a cafe in Minneapolis, John looked over at Phoenix’s computer and saw Faith’s profile written by Hanna. John played it cool and mentioned to Phoenix: “she seems cute, I don’t know” and the rest is history <3. And that is the story of the baddie directory.
Open to everyone in their 20s/30s
of all genders and sexual orientations.
